A really helpful way to understand how colors interact in textiles, is to weave a color gamp. We will be using Lunatic Fringe’s Tubular Spectrum™ to create an 8 shaft, turned twill panel. Use the panel to decorate your studio wall, or sew it into a pillow cover, bag, or any colorful accessory.

The Beginning Rigid Heddle Class is meant for those who have never woven on a Rigid Heddle Loom, or want to brush up on the basics. In the first class we will warp the loom and begin to weave some basic structures. In the next two classes we will re-warp the loom and weave a scarf.

Got Stash? This project is for you. Bring all the yarn you can’t figure out what to do with to make a thick, cushy rug your toes will love. The bonus is that you get warping practice by warping twice! This class is for advanced beginners and above.

Like Overshot, Summer and Winter has three elements: warp threads, tabby threads, and pattern threads. But, unlike overshot, S&W has no long floats. This makes it a good structure for a large number of products. We will look at the structure and weaving of S&W.

Celebrate color and friendship! Join us for an afternoon of tie dyeing. Bring a cotton t-shirt (no sweat shirts), a sense of whimsy, and a bag to take your wet shirt home in.

Weave a yummy alpaca blanket. The alpaca yarn is so soft, you will want to use it immediately. Working on floor looms, Deanna will walk you through the warping process and show you how to weave for softness.

Sectional warping is Catherine’s favorite way to warp. In this class she will show the tricks she has incorporated into her weaving. She will show how to use a spool rack, a warping wheel, and Catherine’s trick with popsicle sticks. We will talk about how to tie a new warp onto an old one.

This class is where it all starts. Our beginning class teaches you the basics of weaving, warping a loom, reading a draft (pattern), and finishing your fabric. After this class you will be able to weave your own projects and also will be able to continue to learn in intermediate classes. Level: All

In weaving, we can get a lacy look with a number of different methods. This one-day technique class will give you an introduction to lacy weaves and the structures we use to get them.

Pin Looms are the ultimate traveling looms. Slip one in your bag and weave anywhere. We will be weaving a square (or 2) that you can use as a coaster. No need to register, just drop in and spend the afternoon with other makers like you.
