    A really helpful way to understand how colors interact in textiles, is to weave a color gamp. We will be using Lunatic Fringe’s Tubular Spectrum™ to create an 8 shaft, turned twill panel. Use the panel to decorate your studio wall, or sew it into a pillow cover, bag, or any colorful accessory.

    Like Overshot, Summer and Winter has three elements: warp threads, tabby threads, and pattern threads. But, unlike overshot, S&W has no long floats. This makes it a good structure for a large number of products. We will look at the structure and weaving of S&W.

    The Gradient Dyeing Class is meant for beginning as well as experienced dyers. Each student will pick two colors to dye with and will dye 16 half ounce skeins with those colors. The final result is 16 distinct, but related colors. The yarn to dye and the dyes are included in the cost of the class.
